The FLYING FLAT is a compact vertical edge polisher engineered to process flat edges on stone.

In addition to producing beautifully polished edges in one rapid pass on backsplash, you can safely process countertops up to 36 inches in height.

The machine comes standard with two bevel heads.

1. One non-oscillating position one polishing head for aggressive rectifying abrasives
2. Six edge polishing spindles with optional micro oscillation for a fast superior finish.
3. Two fixed position 45 degree polishing spindles come standard on the new Flying Flat 7-2.

The Flying Flat 7-2 can process 2cm - 6cm stone as short as 3.5 inches. The feed rate is adjustable from 13-66 IPM to accommodate various thickness and hardness of material. The optional micro oscillation feature increases the speed and is very useful if your saw does not cut square.

Sasso takes corrosion control very seriously. Every Sasso machine uses hot dip galvanizing, stainless steel, marine grade fiberglass and corrosive resistant components to ensure long machine life. We also supply a transformer set to the correct voltage for your facility. Finally, we will supply you with a basic set of tooling to get you up and running.

The Flying Flat comes standard with 2 45 degree spindles. If you do a considerable amount of commercial work, ordering 1 more 45 degree bevel spindle is productive option which will improve the finish of the bevel.

If you have the need to process very short splashes down to 2 inches Sasso can make modifications to the machine to enable the processing of very short parts.

If you process very long pieces of stone on a regular basis you might consider purchasing a pair of feed extensions for your machine.

Micro-oscillation speeds up the processing times and helps mitigate sloppy saw cuts. If your saw does not cut square this option may be a good idea.
